Crash between lorry and car in Scottish Highlands, Dalwhinnie

Police Scotland has confirmed that a crash has occurred between a lorry and a car towing a trailer in Dalwhinnie this morning.

The crash between the two vehicles happened at around 8am this morning south of Dalwhinnie on the A9, northbound.

Emergency services are in attendance and it is unclear whether there are any casualties.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report at around 8.05am of a crash between a lorry and car on the A9 south of Dalwhinnie on the north bound lane.”

Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.

A process of vehicle recovery is currently being arranged to clear the partially blocked road.
