Crackdown catches 111mph biker

A MOTORCYCLIST was caught travelling at almost twice the speed limit as police launched a national crackdown on dangerous drivers.

The 21-year-old, who was doing 111mph in a 60mph zone, was stopped by officers at about 8am on Wednesday near Blairs in Aberdeen.

Grampian Police reported 58 motorists for various driving offences on the day.
