Court out by a burst pipe

LEGAL staff were left mopping up after a court room was flooded.

Criminals and prisoners forced into a spare room at Edinburgh Sheriff Court as officials looked to move affected cases yesterday.

The burst pipe soaked carpets in court eight, which is normally used for trials without juries.

Business was expected to resume today.
