Court for man linked to rape

A MAN was set to appear in court today after a woman was allegedly raped in in her home.

The 22-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the attack at a house in Livingston, West Lothian on Saturday.

He was due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today charged in connection with the assault.

The 39-year-old victim was left "seriously traumatised" after an attacker entered her house at around 5am on Saturday. It is alleged the attacker threatened and then raped her, leaving the property at around 7am.
