Council hunt for staff with a difference

A SCHEME has been launched to recognise Midlothian Council employees who have gone that extra mile.

The local authority is inviting the public to help choose the winner of its Customer Service Award, which forms part of its new Celebrate Midlothian scheme.

Residents are asked to send the council their name, address and contact details along with the names of staff members they want to nominate.

Nominations should describe the impact the team or individual has had on the community and the positive difference they make.
