Corrections and clarifications

THE results of the Bupa Great Winter Run were incorrectly reported in Monday's paper due to errors in the information provided by race organisers as a result of faults with some of the timing chips provided to runners.

The winner of the men's race was Neil Renault in 12.41, second was Pat Byrne in 12.53 and third was Sergi Ferret Mitjans in 13.21. The women's winner was Helen Thomson in 16.41, second was Denise Muir in 17.21 and third was Margie Leitch in 17.23. We apologise for any disappointment caused by the errors in our initial report.
