Concert help for hospital

A CONCERT has been held at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital to mark 30 years of Music in Hospitals.

The company has been bringing music to frail and vulnerable people in hospitals since it set up its Scottish base in 1980.

Writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson, Scottish patron, said: "No-one who has witnessed the effect of the simplest sing-song on an elderly care ward could doubt its ability to stimulate, soothe and enrich."
