Complaints led to eviction

A COUNCIL tenant has been thrown out of his home after a local authority obtained a court order.

Stewart McMillan, 34, of Preston Crescent in Prestonpans, was evicted after East Lothian Council received complaints about alleged drug dealing, as well as harassment of neighbours.

Councillor Stuart Currie, the council’s housing and community safety leader, said: “This was truly shocking behaviour which I know badly affected McMillan’s neighbours.”
