Communities to connect

COMMUNITIES surrounding Uphall Station and Knightsridge in Livingston are to become better connected.

Councillors have approved the construction of a cycle path/footpath on land to the rear of Nettlehill Road/Todd Square at Houston Industrial Estate.

The link will improve access to a wider path network and neighbouring facilities.

West Lothian Council will construct the 500m section on land parallel to the Bathgate to Edinburgh railway line.
