Coming out of the shadows
NINETIES psychedelic popsters The Shadowland are to reform for a one-off gig.
The Edinburgh-based band enjoyed moderate success during the "Madchester" era of the early 1990s.
Following a self-released debut album, Kaleidoscope, they signed to German label Twist, which distributed their seven-inch Smoke EP throughout Europe, but their mod influences soon clashed with the musical tastes of the day.
The Shadowland are due to play a one-off reunion gig at Glasgow's Admiral Bar on November 27.
