Kind-hearted Kevin recently informed the Hospice that he will be gifting the proceeds from sales of his Platinum Ticketmaster tickets to St Margaret of Scotland Hospice.

All of the proceeds from official Platinum seating will go to charity, with St Margaret of Scotland Hospice and the Royal Hospital for Children at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital nominated to receive 50 per cent each as Kevin’s beneficiaries. The renowned stand-up, who grew up just a few miles from the hospice, has teamed up with ticketing website Ticketmaster to offer the premium briefs to fans.

The Platinum tickets offer the best-placed seats to Kevin’s shows and are held back from general sale to be sold at the market rate, which prevents touts from profiting by buying up tickets for resale. Sister Rita, Chief Executive of St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, said: “We are very thankful to Kevin for this outstanding gesture.

“Kevin is a regular supporter of the Hospice and it wonderful that he has thought of us in this way.

“We are absolutely delighted to benefit in such a way as a result of Kevin’s shows this year and we send him our best wishes on his tour. As a result of Kevin’s thoughtful and very generous gesture, the donation received by us will go towards providing our patients with the highest standards of care.”
