Colleges announce alliance for Fife

A COLLEGE which was the subject of an investigation is to merge with two other institutions.

Adam Smith College in Kirkcaldy will join forces with Dunfermline’s Carnegie College and Elmwood College in Cupar.

Adam Smith was recently probed by the Scottish Funding Council following claims the management there was guilty of bullying, intimidation and the misuse of funds. Yesterday, in a joint statement, the three institutions announced that they would combine to form a new regional college for Fife.
