College takes centre stage

PROSPECTIVE students interested in acting or dance are being urged to attend open morning workshops at Edinburgh's Telford College.

The events, which will provide visitors with a taste of what life as a performing arts student at the college is like, take place on Friday from 10am to 12.30pm.

Performing arts curriculum manager at the college, Winifred Jamieson, said: "There is usually quite a high demand for places."
