Clarification

WE have been asked to clarify that an alleged assault on a man in the early hours of Saturday morning did not take place at Siglo nightclub in the Cowgate, as reported in the Evening News on Monday.

The report was based on information received from the police but it has now been confirmed the incident happened elsewhere in the Cowgate and was not connected with the club.
