City plays host to real estate research forum

The Capital is set to play host to one of the world’s largest real estate research events this summer when the European Real Estate Society brings its 19th annual conference to the city.

The event is being organised and chaired by the Institute for Housing, Urban and Real Estate Research at Heriot-Watt University in conjunction with Nottingham Trent University, and will attract academics and practitioners from around the globe.

The keynote session at the event, which is being supported by Standard Life, CBRE and City of Edinburgh Council, will be chaired by investment market veteran David Hunter and will feature groundbreaking papers from leading academics, Professor Colin Jones from Heriot-Watt University and Professor Colin Lizieri from the University of Cambridge.

The conference will be held from June 13 to 16 at Edinburgh University’s Appleton Tower.
