City house prices blow
CAPITAL homes are the second least affordable in Scotland, according to a new report.
The Bank of Scotland Affordable Cities Review found that the average price of property in the city was 5.74 times the average annual full-time earnings.
Stirling was named the most affordable, while Inverness was found to be the least.

Hide AdNitesh Patel, housing economist at Bank of Scotland, said: “Looking forward, the marked improvement in city affordability is likely to help support demand for those able to enter the housing market.”
