City firm wins NHS contract

A POLWARTH-BASED firm which supplies compostable food packaging has won a major NHS contract. Vegware will supply the Royal Bournemouth Hospital with packaging for two years, with an option for a one-year extension. It will supply compostable hot cups and lids, cold cups, napkins, cutlery, takeaway boxes and sandwich bags made from recycled or renewable plant sources rather than plastics.
