City architect wins award

A CAPITAL-based architect has won a major award from the British Construction Industry.

Reiach and Hall Architects was recognised in the £3m-£50m category for their design of Dundee House, the new civic centre and administrative headquarters for  Dundee City Council.

Judges said the project was “a great example of creative re-use, symbolising the cultural and urban ambitions of the city, delivered by a collaborative and enthusiastic team.”
