Church makes a big entrance

A CHURCH is planning several improvements after being granted almost £5,500 from the National Lottery.

As part of the Awards For All scheme, Prestongrange Parish Church will widen the entrance to the church grounds.

The 400-year-old building is used by a wide variety of community groups, and the changes will allow better disabled access.

The funds will pay for the removal, supply and fitting of new gates, and improve the existing road surface and footpath.
