Choir to sing at forces day

AN award-winning school choir was set to perform at the UK Armed Forces Day celebrations today.

The Edinburgh Academy Senior School Chamber Choir was recently crowned BBC One's UK-wide Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year.

Choir Master Angus Tully said: "Edinburgh Academy has a long tradition of involvement with the forces, with nine alumni having been awarded the Victoria Cross, a number of parents in the military and a strong Combined Cadets Force, which will be providing pipers for the march."
