Choir retunes concert date

A 70-strong Edinburgh choir is having to wait for its first performance after winter weather saw a show in Princes Street Gardens cancelled.

The Edinburgh version of Rock Choir, a new concept which has proved popular across the UK, had been expected to sing in the Gardens at the start of this month, but the performance fell victim to the weather.

Elaine Williamson, local Rock Choir leader, said: "It was such a shame we missed out because Rock Choir sounded fantastic in the dress rehearsal"
