Child labourers found on farm

Six Romanian children aged nine to 15 were taken into care after being found picking spring onions in freezing conditions.

Illegal child labour is not "rife", agriculture minister Jim Paice insisted yesterday. But he vowed breaches would be dealt with after this "very shocking case" in Worcestershire.
