Chew over truth about obesity at society lecture

TWO leading nutritional experts are staging a free lecture on "the truth" behind obesity.

Professor Julian Mercer and Dr Alexandra Johnstone of Aberdeen University's Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health will present findings from their research at the Royal Society of Edinburgh on George Street on Monday.

A question and answer session will follow the talk, which takes place from 6pm.

This free event kick-starts the Nutrition Society's summer programme, which runs from Monday to Thursday.
