Chernobyl kids handed Lothian visit

MORE than 20 disadvantaged children living with the after-effects of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster will visit Edinburgh and West Lothian next year.

The youngsters will be welcomed by the West Lothian group of Friends of Chernobyl’s Children, which is organising the visit.

As part of fundraising efforts to pay for the trip for the 21 children, a ladies’ lunch has been organised this month.
