Charlie Miller moves on after five years at Harvey Nicks

HAIRDRESSER Charlie Miller is giving up his salon in Harvey Nichols after five years and will open a new one at Edinburgh's Holy Corner.

The new purpose-built salon will open on Colinton Road, at the junction with Morningside Road.

Mr Miller said: "We've had five good years at Harvey Nicks, it's a fabulous store. But it's time for us to move on to new pastures and I believe we've found an ideal location for a brand new salon."

But he said he will be taking a back seat, leaving the project to his sons Jason, 43, and Josh, 40. He said: "It'll be their design, with 25 chairs.

"As for staffing, most of it will be internal."
