Charity up for award

A CITY homeless charity will discover tonight if it has won a sought-after prize.

The Bethany Christian Trust, which is behind initiatives including the Caring Christmas Trees, was nominated for the award thanks to its work with 4000 homeless and vulnerable people across the Lothians and the rest of Scotland.

If successful, it would be a huge boost for the Bonnington organisation, although officials said even being nominated was an achievement.
