Charge after death of pensioner

A MAN has been arrested over the death of a pensioner who died six days after being found injured in an underpass.

John Gillespie, 88, was found in the tunnel at Lovers Walk in Stirling on 19 April. He was taken to Stirling Royal Infirmary where he died on 25 April. Central Scotland Police said a 50-year-old man was charged in connection with the death.
