Change for crime cash

A NEW changing pavilion for footballers, built in part with a grant of £100,000 in funds confiscated from criminals, has been opened in Haddington.

Justice Minister Kenny MacAskill joined Councillor Ruth Currie, East Lothian's cabinet member for community wellbeing, to open the pavilion at Whittingehame Drive.

The 460,000 pavilion was built with the help of the Cashback for Communities initiative, which uses funds confiscated from criminals to support activities for youth.
