Championing early years

EARLY years champion groups are being founded across East Lothian in a bid to ensure the “best possible start in life” for the county’s children.

The initiative aims to address health and wellbeing inequalities by developing a network of community champions drawn from teaching and other professional staff.

The champion groups are expect to be empowered to engage with any relevant council or health department.
