Lady Gaga is thought to be in talks to purchase a stake in Neverland, the sprawling estate that once belonged to Michael Jackson.

Gaga, who is known to be a big fan of the late King of Pop, is said to be keen to help the Jackson family by purchasing a stake.

The Jackson family only part-own the property at present.

A source told The Sun: “Lady Gaga is obsessed with Michael. She’s become good friends with his sister La Toya and would love more than anything else to restore Neverland to its original state.

“His kids are all desperate to hold on to their childhood home so they can decide what they want to do with it properly when they’ve grown up.

“Gaga would love to help with the financial costs by buying a share.”

The 3,000 acre ranch would be the latest MJ-related acquisition for the Born This Way star, who has purchased 55 items of MJ memorabilia to date.

The opulent Neverland Ranch was bought by Jackson - who died after a Propofol overdose in 2009 - in 1988, but had fallen into disrepair as the singer’s financial problems mounted.
