A group of three men left a nightclub in Elmbank Gardens and were crossing Bath Street when they were assaulted by three other men at about 3am on Sunday September 6.

The attackers then headed in the direction of the Glasgow Hilton Hotel next to the M8 motorway while the victims made their way home.

One of those attacked went to hospital the following day to be treated for leg injuries.

Police Scotland Detective Constable Stephen Palmer said: “This appears to have been an unprovoked attack on a group of men heading home from a night-out.

“I would appeal to anyone who recognises the men in the images to contact officers as they may be able to assist with our enquiries.”

One man had brown hair and was wearing an off-white t shirt, jeans and trainers, the second had dark hair and was wearing a white shirt and jeans, and the third also had dark hair and was wearing a white shirt and black jacket.
