CCTV image of Aberdeen bookies robber released

POLICE Scotland today released a CCTV image of a hooded man they are seeking after a bookmakers in Aberdeen was robbed last week.

The Coral bookmaker’s shop in Glenbervie Road was robbed last Tuesday night when the robber escaped with a three-figure sum of money.

The man being sought is described as white, in his mid-20s, of medium build, and about 6ft tall, with a pale and spotty complexion. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket, black trousers, a grey top, black shoes and a black scarf and gloves.

Police Scotland today released a CCTV image of a man they wish to trace in connection with their enquiries.

Detective Inspector Lorna Ferguson, who is leading the investigation, said: “I would urge anyone who can identify the male shown in this image, perhaps from the clothing he is wearing, to make contact with the Police and pass on their details.”

She added: “Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.”
