Catch Roy at fundraiser

TV presenter and comedian Roy Walker will host a comedy fundraiser in the Capital this summer.

Walker, best known for hosting Catchphrase, will front the Big Comedy Gala at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Proceeds of the show go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The first gala, held at last year’s festival, was a sell-out and raised almost £18,500.

Walker said: “I am very pleased and flattered to be invited back to perform in Edinburgh at The Big Comedy Gala in Aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

“It is a brilliant event that raises vital money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that touches so many of our lives.”

The show is to be held on August 13 at Venue150@EICC.
