Castle reveals festive events

THE Christmas programme for Edinburgh Castle has been revealed, with carols, quizzes and costumed visitors.

On Sunday, Christmas carols will be performed in the Great Hall at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Every weekend in December, costumed performers will bring the history of the Castle to life – including Mary, Queen of Scots, and her court.

Executive Manager Nick Finnigan said: “Christmas is particularly atmospheric in the iconic setting of Edinburgh Castle.”
