Cash van and store robbery bids linked

A LOOMIS cash in transit van and a grocers were targeted in two attempted robberies in 30 minutes in Glasgow's east end.

Police are linking the crimes after a description of a man who fled Sunshine Grocers in Carntyne empty-handed on Friday, after threatening staff with a knife, matched that of the suspeceted van attackers.
