Cash lifeline for lifeboats

LIFEBOAT volunteers have pocketed a donation from cargo firm Menzies Aviation, which is based at Edinburgh Airport.

The Kinghorn RNLI team was handed £350 to help pay for training and equipment.

Crew member Billy Baldwin works for Menzies Aviation.

Senior vice-president Andy Boyd said: “Menzies Aviation are very proud of Billy’s commitment to the RNLI.”

Lifeboat operations manager Paul Wibberley added: “This money will allow us to continue saving lives at sea.”
