Care home hit by early morning blaze

Fifty elderly people had to moved to safety after a fire broke out at a care home in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The alarm sounded at Forth View Care Centre in Methil, Fife at about 4:30am after a blaze began in the dining area.

Residents were moved to a safe part of the building and 
no-one was injured.
