Capital charity Bethany steps up to stage fundraising walk

A LEADING charity which helps homeless people in the Capital is to stage a fundraising walk.

Bethany’s Walk for the Homeless will take place on September 20 over 12 or six miles.

It will leave from Bonnyrigg and eventually join the old Edinburgh to Peebles railway line.

Cat Rawlinson-Watkins, fundraising and marketing manager for the charity, said it was keen for as many people as possible to take part.

She said: “It’s a flat, easy walk through beautiful scenery and is suitable for all ages.”
