Candidates debate ahead of general election

A HUSTINGS event is to be held in Juniper Green in the run up to the general election.

The community councils of Balerno, Currie and Juniper Green have invited all local candidates to the event, which will take place on 28 April.

Each candidate will be given time to state their own manifestos, before questions are invited from the audience.

The event, which starts at 7:30pm, is expected to last around 90 minutes at Juniper Green Parish Church, which has a capacity of 500. Free tickets are available from local shops.
