Buses chart tracker win

City leader Jenny Dawe has praised the Lothian Buses Bustracker service, which provides real-time information to passengers at bus shelters on the progress of their bus.

The service recently won an accolade at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Awards, and a new advertising campaign is to promote it further.

Bustracker, developed by the city council and Lothian Buses, provides passenger information on street, on the web, on smartphones and by text message.
