Bus services set to change

MORE changes are being made to bus timetables in the city, with new services added and others scrapped.

From 14 February Lothian Buses will introduce more buses on the 23 and X26 routes, as well as a new route for the X29 and extra buses on the 44 route serving Queen Margaret University.

However, due to low demand, the X26 will no longer serve RBS Gogarburn, while the 29 will no longer serve Mayfield on Saturdays.

Meanwhile, the X29 will serve Muirhouse to give a direct link from Midlothian to Telford College and will stop at Lady Road for Cameron Toll and all stops from Salisbury Place to Muirhouse. The N8 service will be withdrawn.
