Builder gets OK for homes

A DEVELOPER has been given the green light by council chiefs to create 15 homes in a new building project.

Redrow Homes put forward proposals to build the 11 houses and four flats on land at Edinburgh Road in Prestonpans, East Lothian, last October.

The plans were approved by councillors at a meeting held earlier this month.

Meanwhile, East Lothian Council has received permission to build ten houses and 18 flats in Whitecraig Avenue.
