Brothers deny all charges of sexual abuse

TWO brothers accused of sexually abusing schoolgirls have told a court they deny all the allegations against them.

Paul and Conrad Fraser are accused of historic indecent assaults on girls aged between seven and 18 more than 35 years ago.

The third of the alleged victims – now a 38-year-old married mother-of-three – told a jury yesterday that Paul Fraser had tried to put his hand up her skirt when she was aged 14.

The Crown withdrew one charge of rape and two of attempted rape against Paul Fraser, 49, at the High Court in Livingston, West Lothian.

Giving evidence in his own defence, he denied indecently assaulting three women in Livingston over a period of years.

His brother, Conrad, 50, also dismissed allegations that he indecently assaulted two of the girls as “a blatant lie”. The trial, before Lord Burns, continues.
