Brothel set for respectable future

DAVID Hicks from Edinburgh World Heritage (EWH) shows off a historic building which was once a notorious brothel and is now set to enter a new era as home to the Capital's world heritage trust.

Acheson House in the Royal Mile is due in the longer term to be integrated with next-door Huntly House to form a museums hub. But in the meantime, EWH is to move to new headquarters at Acheson House while the upper floors are restored.
