A BRITISH woman has died after falling from a hotel balcony in India, the Foreign Office has confirmed.

Sunanda Valand, 37, from Horley, Surrey, fell from the sixth floor of the beachside Hotel Ramee Guestline in Mumbai, where she was staying with her husband. Next of kin have been informed.
