Boys get chance to dance

BUDDING Billy Elliots will be given the opportunity to hone their skills as part of a boys-only dance workshop in the Capital.

The event, run by the Royal Academy of Dance, takes place on April 14 and 15.

Boys aged between eight and 18 will be able to sample various styles of dance, including ballet and street dance.

Kenny Burke, head of the Dance School of Scotland, said: “Boys Only is reaching out to the community, giving young men the opportunity to demonstrate their potential and to dance with and learn from their male peers and leading dance artists.”
