Boy punched and robbed by youths

POLICE have launched an inquiry after a schoolboy was assaulted and robbed in Edinburgh's New Town.

Two older youths approached the victim in Moray Place and one punched and robbed him.

Both suspects then fled towards Stockbridge and the boy was treated for minor injuries to his face at hospital.
