Boy, 6, killed by hit-and-run driver

A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy has been knocked down and killed by a hit-and-run driver.

The incident happened in Fishpond Lane, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, at around 12:20pm on Saturday.

West Yorkshire Police said the boy was struck by a grey or light-coloured small hatchback-type car which failed to stop.
