Bosses saddle up for charity

MANAGERS from branches of a major supermarket chain are taking part in a two-day charity cycle between Cumbernauld and the Capital.

They will visit various Asda stores along the way, including in Livingston, Chesser and Leith.

Between the two Edinburgh branches, the managers will be given an escort by police on mountain bikes, and when they reach Leith they will be presented with medals by SNP councillor Adam McVey.

Funds raised will go to the Cash for Kids appeal, with other events taking place at the supermarkets, including raffles and bag-packing by Scouts.
