Boss gets back to the floor at John Lewis

IT’S a million miles away from his usual working day which is typically spent at meetings and in the office.

The move was part of the firm’s “Helping Hands” initiative under which all head office “partners”, or staff, go into branches across the country to help out on the shop floor.
